DIY Mudcloth Makeup Brushes

I've been in desperate in need of some pretty makeup brushes, but I wanted them to match my makeup bag. I also wanted them to be mudcloth because I'm really liking that pattern, but it turns out they don't make those.

step 1. cover the bristles and the main part of the brush with tape so only the metallic part is showing. I was at first worried that the tape would remove the bristles, but it didn't. spray the metallic with gold spray paint.

step 2. tape off a portion of the main part of the brush for your color block. Paint.

step 3. with your paint pen, create your design! done and done.
